What is Eagle Trek?
Eagle Trek is a month-long school fundraising event
Kick-Off: Friday, September 14, 2018
Walk-a-Thon: Friday, October 12, 2018
During the Walk-a-Thon, students run/skip/walk/dance throughout the day to earn money for the school.
Students raise money with family, friends, and neighbors. They could set up a lemonade stand, sell cookies, or try any other fundraising idea that sparks their imagination. However, most importantly, we want students and families to have fun and help our school! Proceeds from the event and sponsor contributions will benefit both the Evansdale PTA and the Evansdale Education Foundation. These organizations invest in professional development and training for our educators, classroom technology and resources, enrichment materials for STEM and French Immersion programs, physical activity and wellness, and other high impact investments that benefit the greatest number of students at Evansdale.
Individual Prizes
- Any student who raises more than $1,000 will receive unlimited Fantastic Friday tickets.
- The top two fundraisers will be offered pool memberships valued at $500 at our neighborhood pools: Nottoway Swim Club and Northumberland Swim Club.
Group Prizes
- Homeroom class that raises the most money wins a pizza party.
- The grade level with highest rate of participation wins a popcorn party.
