My name is Samantha Toney, and I am so excited to be at Evansdale as your full time School Counselor! I received my bachelor’s degree from Florida A&M University.  After living most of my life in Florida my husband and I along with our three children moved to Colorado.  While there I earned my master’s degree from Adams State University in School Counseling. I have been a School Counselor for six years.  I absolutely love helping students and families in any way I can to ensure that students have what they need to succeed socially, emotionally, and academically.

Hi, my name is Raylene Lowe. I am very excited to be the new part-time counselor at Evansdale. I grew up in Tucker and know this is a special school!  I retired from the Dekalb County School System in December 2020 after serving 43 years as a para, teacher, counselor, and Assistant Principal. I look forward to working with the students, teachers, and parents at Evansdale.
